INSTRUCTIONS TO THE AUTHORS
VERSION FRANCAISE
The Africa Statistika journal publishes applied and theoretical work researchs
about probabilities, statistics, operational research, financial mathematics and about
the annexes as well. The fundamentals articles will be published in a series A, the applied
articles in a series B. Each series will be displayed at least once per year.
The articles are written in English or in French and have to be typed out with double
spacing on the first side only, with a margin of three centimetres. The articles must not
be longer than 12 pages. The invited papers can be longer.
It is been recommended that the text of the article to be accompanied by the electronic
version on floppy disk or by an e-mail in file text, or scientific Word, Word, rtf, etc.
The articles must be presented in the following order in the first page
- The title of the article
- The full surname and name of the authors, and the emails
- The address of the authors
- The summary in 10 lines in French and in English
- The keywords
The illustrations (figures and tables) will be traced in separated papers or save in
pictures format to allow a direct reproduction. They must display a legend with a maximum
of 2 lines.
The bibliographic references are those used in the international reviews. However, our
journal privileges the presentation of the bibliography in alphabetical order and the
numeration to allow a reference to be pointed out in the text by its number between
brackets.
The offprints for each article are not free. Therefore any author who desires to get it
must address a request to the redaction. The offprints are dispatched after paying the
full corresponding bill.
